The “Joints for Jabs” vaccination campaign is adopted by the Alcohol and Cannabis Commission
The Alcohol and Cannabis Commission (Liquor and Cannabis Board) of Washington state announced the temporary “Joints for Jabs” campaign on Monday, giving the green light to licensed dispensaries to distribute a free seal to people who have received their first or second injection of Covid-19 at a vaccination clinic at the store.
In an effort to support COVID-19 vaccinations, the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) has announced that it will grant temporary permission to state-licensed cannabis retailers to provide a seal to adult consumers who get vaccinated in a vaccination clinic on site.
Pre-roll seals are the only products allowed to be distributed and only to adults aged 21 and over.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign, companies have increased incentives to convince people to get vaccinated. Whether it’s a donut or a full scholarship, the free perks of vaccines have spread across all markets, including cannabis.

An Arizona dispensary has already started a similar “Snaxx for Vaxx” campaign, which offers a pre-roll and edible gum to people who get vaccinated. And the “Pot for Shot” from a Michigan dispensary also offers a seal with proof of vaccination.
To date, just over half of Americans have received their first injection and about 42% are fully immunized, according to statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention United States . The Washington LCB also allowed liquor licensees to serve a free drink , either beer, wine or a cocktail, with proof of vaccination. This initiative started in May and continues until the end of June.
