We continue with a strange, strange year. Due to COVID and due to the responsibility of the organizers, it is difficult to carry out powerful physical actions that mobilize the great cannabis social mass. That is why the 26th edition of the World Marijuana March, which is historically held in Madrid and is organized by AMEC (Madrid Association for Cannabis Studies), will be held mostly virtually, with a multitude of events that will be publicized on the internet using hashtags #MarihuanaEnMarcha and # MMMM21.
The Confederation of Federations of Cannabis Associations collaborates in the organization (ConFAC), the European Coalition for Just and Effective Drug Policies (ENCOD) and the State Network of Anti-prohibitionist Women (REMA).
The activities began on April 20 (4:20, World Marijuana Day) and have also had great actions on May 1, ending on May 8 with the celebration of the March in Madrid.
The organization is clear that the freedoms of users must continue to be protected and defended above any moral or commercial interest and although for health reasons carrying out this type of event is complicated, the voice of the group cannot be silenced for a whole year.
