This mixture is then left to ferment as sugars are turned into ethanol, then acetic acid.
And in the case of apple cider vinegar, acidity is actually a wonderful thing, because when something is acidic, it’s less likely to take on any foreign or dangerous pathogens, since low pH substances don’t create the right environment.
Further, when something is acidic, it tends to have a tart, almost sour taste, and while this isn’t the most pleasant taste on its own, it can be turned into a sour gummy snack when you add some sweetness and texture.
And when it comes to health properties, organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar contains a murky, cloudy-looking substance called “the mother,” which is made up of proteins, enzymes, and beneficial bacteria. And while there aren’t enough studies to fully support this, it’s believed by some people that this is what gives apple cider vinegar the majority of its health benefits.

If you ever thought making candy was hard, here’s the recipe that’ll prove otherwise! With the straightforward use of gelatin, you won’t even need a candy thermometer! The only equipment you need is silicone molds and a saucepan.

- ½ cup apple cider vinegar (raw)
- ½ cup apple juice
- 3 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar
- ⅓ cup water (at room temperature)
- 2½ tablespoons gelatin powder
- 300 mg CBD oil or isolate powder
Yields about 30 servings
How to Make Apple Cider Vinegar CBD Gummies
1-In a saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, apple juice, and sweetener. Turn your burner to medium heat, stirring constantly as the mixture warms up. Once ingredients are well combined, turn off the heat.
2-Fill a cup with the water and incorporate the gelatin by lightly sprinkling over the substance. Leave the cup sitting for one minute, allowing the gelatin to bloom, before whisking vigorously to completely dissolve. The mixture will take on a gel-like consistency.
3-Add the gelatin-water mixture to the saucepan and whisk it in, combining until the mixture is completely dissolved
4-At this point, taste the liquid and sweeten to your liking. Less sweetener will give the gummies a more tart, sour flavor
5-Add the CBD oil or isolate powder, and pour into silicone molds. Refrigerate about 6 hours, until the gelatin is completely firm, and push under the mold to pop out the gummies.
6-Gummies will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 6 days.
