The original LEVO Oil Infuser is capable of infusing up to 16 ounces of butter or oil with just the touch of a button. For those dishes that call for something other than oil or butter, users can utilize the herb pod to infuse fruits and herbs for more variety. Infusing with the LEVO 1 is a safe process as there are no solvents, additives, or emulsifiers needed. The LEVO 1 features Smell Control which reduces the aroma of dry herb during the infusion process, and the device itself is easily cleaned due to having dishwasher safe parts. Users can take total control over the pacing of the process with precision time and temperature controls, making large meal prep easy.

Now that you know what you’d use to elevate your dishes…let’s take a look at the Top 5 Infused Thanksgiving Foods!

Dry Herb Infused Honey Butter

LEVO 1 infusing butter

So we’re going to start off with the easiest, most delicious infused Thanksgiving food you could make with the LEVO 1: honey butter. One of the plusses of infusing something like honey butter is that it can go on almost any dish for the upcoming holidays. Prep time is around 5 minutes, and “cooking” time is at least 30 minutes of storage in the fridge.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 stick of unsalted LEVO 1 infused butter
  • 2 tablespoons of pure honey
  • Kosher salt

After you’ve infused your stick of butter with the LEVO 1, use a fork to combine (or, smash) the butter, honey, and salt in a bowl until everything is combined well enough to “look the part” of honey butter. After this step comes…covering it and letting it sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. From there you can add this to any roll, potatoes, or just emoji it by itself if you’re into that sort of thing.

Infused Brussels Sprouts

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

What was once deemed a “gross” food Brussels sprouts have made a huge comeback in every day eating and Thanksgiving recipe books. Adding a bit of garlic and infused oil from the LEVO 1 can take your spouts to the next level. This recipe has a total time of 50 minutes, 10 of prep and 40 cooking time.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
  • 3 tablespoons infused olive oil from your LEVO 1
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

First preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, then cut off the brown ends of the Brussels sprouts and kind of “clean the sprout” of any not-good looking leaves. Mix your sprouts in a bowl with the infused olive oil from the LEVO 1, salt, and pepper. Line a sheet pan with tin foil and roast for 35-40 minutes. You’re looking for crisp on the outside, tender on the inside sprouts. You can flip the sprouts halfway through the cooking process, or just shake the pan to help brown them easily. Once they’re at a desired crispness, serve immediately.

Elevated Gravy with the Levo 1

Brown gravy

Personally, I believe that gravy is the 2nd best part of Thanksgiving dinner. And what better way to add some fun to your evening than with dry herb infused brown gravy? This recipe calls for butter, which you’ll infuse with the LEVO 1, and has a prep time of around 5 minutes, and a cooking time of around 5 minutes as well.

What you’ll need:

  • 6 tablespoons infused butter via your LEVO 1
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour or brown rice flour for gluten free
  • 2 large cloves garlic minced
  • 20 ounces beef broth
  • 10 ounces chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (disclaimer: pepper can be used however much you’d like)

First step is stirring together the water and cornstarch, then setting it aside. From there melt your infused butter into a saucepan on medium-high heat. Add your flour and whisk together to combine, after this you’ll cook the flour mix for around 5 minutes, stirring until it turns a golden brown color. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds more, until you can smell the garlic.

Add the broths and bring the entire mixture to a boil. Whisk in your cornstarch mixture that you had set aside and reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes until the gravy is thickened up. Season with pepper and take flight!

Chilled Out Cornbread

Cornbread

Perhaps the most versatile of the breaded holiday snacks, cornbread is a highlight during any Thanksgiving meal. Simple ingredients and an assist from the LEVO 1 will have you wanting more than just one serving of this classic holiday dish. Prep time for this dish is 10 minutes, cooking and cooling time around 30.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup fine cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 stick unsalted LEVO 1-infused butter, melted

Grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet or 8-inch square baking dish and preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Whisk your cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Grab a second bowl and whisk the milk, eggs, and infused dry herb butter together. Add the wet ingredient bowl to the dry ingredients and stir until combined, and then transfer this to your prepared pan or baking dish.

Bake your soon-to-be cornbread for 15 minutes, you’ll know the cornbread is done when the top is light golden brown and you can insert a toothpick inside the center and pull it out clean. Cool the bread in a pan for 10 minutes and enjoy.

Turkey Stuffing With Infused Butter

Turkey stuffing

Thanksgiving stuffing makes for a fantastic day-of-Thanksgiving food and is an elite leftover candidate as well, so why not add some dry herb infusion to kick them up a notch? This handmade stuffing recipe is a little more difficult than the last two with a prep time of 15 minutes and a cook time of 45.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 pound bread cut into 1-inch cubes – about 12 cups
  • 3/4 cup infused *unsalted* butter
  • 2 cups chopped yellow onion
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon minced sage
  • 1 tablespoon minced rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon minced thyme (throw the sticks out)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chicken broth

First off you’re going to want to dry your bread cubes, which can be done by either letting them sit on the counter for 1-2 days in a covered bowl, or just simply toasting them. Once dried lay your cubes onto a baking sheet and toast at 250 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Transfer the bread cubes to a bowl when done.

Next, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and use a cooking spray to coat a baking dish. Grab a skillet and melt your LEVO 1 infused butter while adding your onion and celery. Sautee until the veggies are soft, then pour the mixture into the bread bowl. Add the parsley, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper, and stir together.

In a medium bowl whisk your eggs, then add the chicken broth and whisk those together as well. Pour this mixture over the bread cubes and make sure to mix well. Then pour *this* mixture into the baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 35 minutes. To achieve a golden brown top, remove the foil and bake your stuffing for another 10 minutes or so.
