To prepare these wonderful marijuana cookies, you don’t have to be an expert pastry chef. They are very easy to cook and even easier to eat. You’ll see how they disappear from the plate before they’ve even cooled down completely. In this other post we talk about how to make marijuana cookies for therapeutic use.
Ingredients to prepare marijuana cookies
Do not cut yourself, that this making cookies is not only a grandmother’s thing. You’ll see when the visitors come home. Much joke with the subject but in the end everyone wants to repeat.
So in this recipe we have been quite generous and we have prepared the ingredients so that you get about 40 marijuana cookies the size of a standard cookie, the kind that everyone gobbles for breakfast. Now they may seem like a lot to you, but you’ll see how later more than one tells you that you have fallen short.
The fact is that the recipe itself is not complicated, but what it takes to making the balls, kneading and baking them will take timeSo keep that in mind so as not to do things on the run, you already know that cooking, and especially cannabis cooking, you have to take it easy.
- 130 g of butter or margarine.
- 130 g of sugar.
- 250 g of flour.
- 2 eggs
- A splash of the essence that you like the most (vailnilla, hazelnut, banana …).

Let’s get to work with the recipe!
Pastry recipes are always a lot of fun, especially in cannabis cooking, when you know they are the preamble to an even more lively time. So let’s not linger any longer and get to work because we have nothing more and nothing less than 40 marijuana cookies to make.
The first of all is to crush the marijuana (you have chosen the best of your crop, right?) Because we are going to mix it with the butter. To do this, we melt the butter or margarine over low heat and when it is liquid (without boiling) we pour the crushed marijuana into it. We leave the mixture to simmer for about an hour and a half so that the heat completes the decarboxylation process of the marijuana and the butter absorbs the THC from the herb well. Meanwhile we can continue with the recipe, you simply have to be careful so that when this time passes you remove the mixture from the heat, strain the content and reserve the butter already impregnated with THC.
So let’s go with the rest of the ingredients. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until you get a foamy mixture. We are not looking for the snow point, but something with a bit of bubbles. When you have it, add the flour slowly (if you want, you can sift it and the cookies will be a little fluffier) and do not stop stirring the contents of the bowl, in this way you will avoid lumps from forming.
When you have finished mixing, include in the dough the butter that we had reserved and the flavoring that you have chosen for your marijuana cookies. Re-remove all content until a homogeneous mixture is obtained and you have the dough ready! Once again, you will need another bit of patience: you have to cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for about 20 minutes so that the dough rests before moving on to the next step.
The last part of the recipe for marijuana cookies is the one in which you realize that with the culinary ideas of Yervagüena at the end you have already made a kitchens. And, as a good pastry chef, it is time to get your hands wet a bit.
Prepare a tray with greaseproof paper and preheat the oven to 160ºC to have everything ready when you play. Meanwhile, tear off pieces of dough and make balls the size of a walnut and place them on a floured surface and then crush them with a rolling pin and give them the rounded shape of the marijuana cookie (of course it is just a suggestion, you can shape them you want).
Place the cookies in a row on the tray keeping a distance of about two centimeters between one and the other and insert them in the oven for 15 minutes until you see that they are golden brown on top. When you remove them, let them cool on a rack and insert a new batch of marijuana cookies until you have finished with the dough.
And if you can wait for them to cool down completely to start testing them, congratulations! It’s certainly not the most common, because these freshly baked cookies smell like they are nourishing.
