How to make cannabutter for granola bars
Making Cannabutter is a non-complex process. You only need regular butter and your most preferred marijuana strain. You can also make use of sunflower lecithin.
The THC content that would be present in the cannabis granola bar partially depends on the dosage of weed used to make the cannabutter.
There’s a descriptive guide detailing the processes used to make cannabutter in our previous posts. So, you can head over to these recipes for the step-by-step process of making cannabutter.
This marijuana-infused butter is not used for only granola bars, other edibles that need to be baked or cooked also make use of cannabutter. It can also be used when brewing cannabis-infused tea or coffee.
The dosage in our recipe can be increased or decreased to suit your taste. If you have very little experience with cannabis, remember to start low and slow to avoid being overwhelmed.
If you already have your cannabutter available, it’s time to whip up some granola bars.

How to prepare cannabis-infused honey
This preparation is straightforward, however, it takes time. So, it must be prepared ahead.
You only need a cup of honey and 3.5g of cannabis(to save time, ensure the cannabis is decarboxylated).
-
Once your cannabis has been decarboxylated, combine it with the honey in a double boiler.
-
Apply very low heat and let the mixture simmer for 45 minutes.
Note that the heat must not be sufficient enough to bring the mixture to a full boiling state. It might denature the nutrients in the honey.
-
Filter out the ground cannabis pieces with a strainer or a cheesecloth funnel.
-
Store the honey in a cool, and dark location for at least a month
If this time frame seems long, you may be able to purchase cannabis-infused honey at dispensaries.
