The Cannabis Expogrow fair has announced its intention to celebrate the 9th edition this year 2021 and Gea Seeds will be present as in previous appointments, giving away seeds and presenting news. The organization returns stronger and more eager than ever after the failed 2020 edition canceled due to the Covid-19 health crisis. Predicting the future is not easy, nobody knows how the epidemiological situation will be in September 2021, but at Gea Seeds we are optimistic and we hope that it will be the end of this nightmare so that we can see you all again in a normalized environment and without restrictions. The new edition of the Expogrow fair will be held, if the health authorities see fit, in the town of Irún (Euskadi) as in previous years. We will continue to update in this article all the available information and possible cancellations or postponements of dates.

Just a few days ago we got in touch with all of you to let you know that you would hear from us shortly. Well, this new communication is to inform you that we already have a date for the celebration of EXPOGROW 2021 and it will be the September 3, 4 and 5 at the fairgrounds FICOBA de Irún (Guipúzcoa). This means that we return to our original date since since 2012 September has been the month of Expogrow and in 2021 it will be again. Business, B2B relations, debate, innovation, fun and music will return in 2021, as always, by the hand of Expogrow.
But the global health situation that plagues us due to COVID-19 forces us to convey this good news to you with great caution. To this day we have no guarantee from the health authorities that Expogrow or any other fair or similar event can be held in the ideal and satisfactory conditions for both the public and professionals. For this reason, we inform you that to reserve space you will not have to make any type of financial outlay until the celebration is fully insured. This is our commitment to all our clients, friends and fellow exhibitors who have trusted Expogrow since 2012 and this is the position that Expogrow wants to have in these circumstances.

Expogrow 2020 – Holiday canceled
The mythical Expogrow fair in Irún will not take place in 2020. After 8 editions held in the border city, the fair’s organizing team has issued a statement in which it informs that due to low influx of past editions are forced to cancel the next edition.
From here, Gea Seeds wants to transmit our most absolute support. We are aware that it will not have been an easy decision, but as they themselves say, we must all adapt to the times. Practically every month there is an important fair in Europe, which complicates both attendees and brands to be available in all of them.
Our sincere thanks to Expogrow. Personally, we have had a great time in all the editions we have been to. We want this stop to be to get a run And what do they say, in 2021 they will return with all the energy in the world.

Eight editions of Expogrow Irun have gone a long way. Although we are aware that we have not always met the expectations of all exhibitors, we have dedicated countless hours of work, effort and dedication, to offer you more than a fair, a professional meeting place and entertainment and, everything, in the pavilions of that exceptional fairground that is Ficoba.
Since we started this adventure in 2012, the Expogrow Irun team has worked tirelessly to make Expogrow your home and so that, year after year, you would be eager to return to Euskadi. Those of you who have lived it know that we have not skimped on resources so that our fair rhymes with fun, kindness, professionalism, innovation, culture, modernity, reflection, debate …
Due to the decrease in the number of visitors, we believe it is time to stop along the way and analyze the goals achieved and reflect on them. The market evolves, as well as your needs. Looking ahead, we must adapt and renew, taking into account the changing reality of the sector.
It is time to look for new ideas and projects and to focus on them. Projects such as Hemp Business Day, which we already organize with great success in parallel to the last edition of the Fair. Giving more prominence to relations between companies and focusing, ultimately, on B2B.
We wish we have provided you with memorable moments during these 8 years, moments that we hope you will not forget. This desire and the satisfaction of the journey, make it easier for us to say goodbye, which is not a goodbye but a see you later.

Expogrow 2016 edition
Last September 2016 Gea Seeds was presented to the cannabis community in the 5th edition of the expogrow de Irún, a fair that has established itself as a benchmark in the sector in Spain and increasingly in Europe. The rainy days of Guipúzcoa contrasted with the warm welcome we received from all the attendees and colleagues, making it known that Gea Seeds has come to stay.
One more year the Expogrow Fair was held in the auditorium Ficoba, enclosure with just over 5000m2 spread over 4 pavilions and with another 7000m2 in the open air, where a total of 165 stands of specialized companies were set up and an influx of approximately 17,000 people was received, of which about 50% were French.
Friday Events
We started the Friday 16 with the session B2B (Bussines to Bussines, only for professionals) where we share experiences and ideas about our sector, talk with old acquaintances and make contacts for present and future businesses. At noon the starting gun sounded and the fair opened for the general public, the attendees were gradually arriving at our stand, where they verified that Gea Seeds It is a different seed bank where we offer quality at a real price, that we want to change things and, above all, that we have a revolutionary project in our hands. In addition, during this day all those present were also able to attend the different talks of the V Social and International Cannabis Forum and enjoy the outdoor activities that had been organized. At night the awards ceremony of the V Cannabis Cup as well as spectacular concerts by artists such as Tomasito or Biga Ranx played.
Saturday events
The Saturday 17 the attendance to the fair was massive with a quite considerable French public. We continue working to show people who we are and what we have, amazing to see our beautiful Greek stand crowded all day. At night delivery of awards expogrow and two great concerts, enjoying El Langui’s performance and vibrating with Muchachito’s show.
Sunday events
The fair closed on Sunday 18, A day that seemed like it was going to be quiet but nothing could be further from the truth, the pace did not slow down, closing fruitful deals and continuing to add people and companies to our lists of current and potential clients. Most of the attendees were French, who took advantage of the good day it did to approach the fair and spend the day.
In short, we came back tired, but happy and satisfied with the work done. The almost complete team of Gea Seeds we were able to enjoy an unforgettable weekend in which we laughed, danced, met many, many people and shared information about our beloved plant. A fruitful and enriching weekend in which we only had to thank everyone for the good treatment and the great welcome they have given us.
